I was actually scared by the screams of guy.
Was he insane?
Insanely good.
Was he cool?
He was terrifying. In a cool way.
Really. It was scary.
But I don't know what to think of this performance. He has an amazing performance, even if it is a little wild.
He has this mask, with a little microphone in it. The microphone goes to some sort of loop pedal and other pedal (I think). He screams words and sounds into the microphone, whacks his drums with his bare hands, shakes about, and disappears into the fog from a fog machine.
He climbed up on one of the rafters at The Golden Pony. And then he took off his mask and put a microphone in his mouth.
When it comes out it's hypnotizing. It's almost like a synthish sound with something else mixed in. His music is mostly vocals on loop with vocals helping. And drums- snare, kick, and hi-hat. And his electric guitar.
I took a good video, but due to the fact that it's a little wee bit much to handle, I decided not upload it. (And I can't upload a video that big to Squarespace) Anyway, It was really cool to see a guy with that much energy play such a style of uncatorizable music.

I must warn you, I have not explored this site much, and if the music is at all like what I saw, it may not be fully suitable for all ages. Really.
